Shreya Udupa received a dual Bachelors's degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Economics from Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University. Always fascinated by science and engineering, she was drawn to aerospace specifically as a student in college.
At Arizona State, Shreya was active in numerous student organizations, including Engineers Without Borders, the Sun Devil Satellite Lab, the Human Oriented Robotics and Controls Lab, and the Silambam Phoenix arts, dance, and music organization. She volunteered extensively in hospital and hospice settings. Additionally, she worked as a tutor and a teaching assistant.
As a Brooke Owens Fellow, Shreya worked at Altius Space Machines. She contributed to a wide range of projects at Altius including engineering design and development work for a brand-new satellite servicing venture and a commercial space habitat. As part of this work, she got to interface with numerous potential customers and present designs at NASA.
After graduation, Shreya joined Advanced Space in Boulder, CO as a full-time member of their engineering staff.
