Jessica Kuleshov is currently pursuing a major in Computer Science on the Intelligent Systems track at Columbia University, as well as going through the process of setting up a Linguistics minor for the School of Engineering. She is originally from Holmdel, New Jersey, but currently lives in New York City.

At Columbia, Jess is highly involved in the Columbia Space Initiative, where she Co-Lead of the Rocketry mission and leads the airframe subteam. She also volunteers with the club, working with students in the greater New York City area to teach them about space and rocketry. Jess has a strong passion for the satellite industry and enjoys working on and learning about the management and scheduling of large constellations.

Outside of her aerospace-related work, Jess participates in the Columbia Pops Orchestra, where she plays bass clarinet; she has co-founded a language and linguistics club called GLOT, and participates in the wushu club on campus. She also spins poi, cooks, and enjoys playing board games and traveling around the world.

Jess interned on the Missions Software team with Planet Labs in San Francisco in Summer 2021.
