Jacquelyn Linevsky graduated with a degree in astrophysics from the University of Florida. She discovered her love of space when she was 4 years old and, while talking to her father, realized that the Moon is not a sticker, but an entirely different planetary body.
As a student, Jacquelyn was the founder and president of the University of Florida chapter of the Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS), as well as a participant in the American Astronomical Society. Jackie has worked as an intern at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in the propulsion division on the Mars 2020 rover, Europa lander, and the Starshade missions. She has also volunteered at her local observatory for several years.
As a Brooke Owens Fellow, Jackie worked at Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems. She now works at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a Systems Testbed Engineer. Jackie’s favorite pastimes include cooking, painting, hiking, camping, and traveling.
