“I am a junior at Emory University majoring in astronomy and physics. I have a lifelong love and interest in space exploration! It started with submitting art projects to various NASA art contests as a kid and a love of the best ride at Disney: Space Mountain! I was inspired to really pursue space when a NASA astronaut who attended my high school visited and talked about his experiences on board the International Space Station.

At Emory, I am a member of the astronomy club! I'm currently doing research for Dr. Erin Wells Bonning, who is the Director of the Emory Planetarium. I am studying the spectra of quasars!

I am a creator at heart; I spend my free time drawing and painting. I have commissioned art for professionals, friends, and non profits.

I am currently an intern at the Hatchery, Emory's incubator, which provides mentoring, program support, and inspiration for students who have ideas for new ventures they want to launch. Through my work there, I have learned what it takes to be a student innovator. This experience also inspired me to pursue my dreams of exploring space."
