Shannon Cassady

Shannon M. Cassady studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, pursuing a double major in Aerospace Engineering and Physics.

She works on the MIT Rocket Team as Simulations lead, performing testing and analysis on flight components and profiles as part of a team.

Shannon has interned at Raytheon in Woburn, MA, working on radar system testing and integration, and Robodub Inc, an autonomous drone startup in Seattle, WA. More recently, she interned at SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA on the Development Test team.

Shannon is also a member of the Theta Lambda chapter of Sigma Kappa sorority and serves on the executive board of MIT's AIAA chapter. She enjoys cooking and traveling.

As a Brooke Owens Fellow, she will return to the SpaceX Development Test team in Hawthorne, CA.
