Shamika Beckley

Shamika “Mika” Beckley is an experienced space and defense consultant with over 20 years of service in the U.S. Air Force and Space Force. As a partner at Partners in Air and Space (PAS), she provides strategic insight and leadership across multiple contracts, supporting government and commercial space initiatives. She works closely with organizations navigating the complex intersection of policy, innovation, and defense, ensuring that space industry stakeholders can drive mission success.

During her time in the United States Space Force, Mika served as Deputy Officer of Innovation and Technology, where she managed a portfolio of over 120 innovation projects and secured $18 million in funding to drive technological advancements in space operations. She played a critical role in standing up the first Space Force Spark Cell, a framework designed to accelerate innovative solutions for national security space missions. Her expertise in intelligence, operations, and acquisition strategy continues to shape her consulting work today.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Mika is passionate about mentorship and human performance. She is a certified HypnoBreathwork coach, integrating breathwork techniques to help professionals, veterans, and high performers unlock clarity, focus, and resilience.

As an executive mentor for the Brooke Owens Fellowship, Mika is dedicated to guiding future aerospace leaders, offering insights into space industry careers, leadership, and navigating high-stakes environments with confidence.

In her free time, Mika enjoys mentoring, traveling, and spending time with her daughter, Aryanna. She is an advocate for servant leadership, continuous learning, and creating meaningful impact in the space industry and beyond.
