Lindsey Tober is a senior at Arizona State University (ASU) majoring in Technological Leadership and minoring in Film and Media Production. Inspired by her love of storytelling through filmmaking and space exploration, she aims to bring the wonders of the universe to audiences back down here on Earth. Her goal is to become a space communicator who is able to transform complex concepts into accessible and engaging ideas for the public.
Lindsey knew from a young age that the stars were calling her. From stargazing every chance she got to winning the middle school science fair with a project studying cosmic rays, she knew she had no other path. Her childhood dream is becoming a reality as she is incredibly thrilled to be selected as a Brooke Owens Fellow, interning at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center this summer!
Dedicated to connecting people with space, she serves as an ASU Space Student Ambassador, where she represents ASU Space to students, faculty, industry partners, and external organizations. She also completed an internship with the ASU/NASA Space Grant, producing videos for the Space For Humans YouTube channel that highlighted the impact that space technologies have in everyday life as well as advocating for inclusive and ethical designs in space.
When not in a film studio or studying, Lindsey loves to spend time with her amazing friends, go on adventures, travel, and get lost in a good book.
