  • Brooke Owens Fellow, Class of 2020

  • University of Arizona, Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, ‘21

    Host Institution: HawkEye 360

Lindsey currently works as a systems test engineer for Ball Aerospace in Boulder, Colorado. Primarily working as a test engineer, she enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

A native of Arizona, Lindsey became interested in aerospace while studying earth science at the age of 12. With math, physics, and chemistry as her favorite high school classes, engineering was the obvious choice. In addition to her aerospace interests, Lindsey enjoys expressing her creativity through art and baking.

Lindsey graduated from the University of Arizona with a BS in Aerospace engineering in 2021. During her time as an undergraduate, she worked for the OSIRIS-Rex mission doing machine learning development and data analysis. She continued this work as an intern for NASA Goddard, focusing on FPGA development. In her Senior year, she worked to link observed meteors to asteroid bodies and find trends between parent asteroids. As a Brooke Owens fellow, she worked for Hawkeye 360 where she took on a range of roles from analyzing data for customer delivery to launch contractor research. In addition to her professional roles, she served on the Engineering Student Council where she dedicated herself to supporting fellow students in their professional development and representing the student body in administrative decisions.
