Jamie Weisenberg is currently working as an Analyst at Avascent, returning full time following her internship as a Brooke Owens Fellow. At Avascent, she contributes to a range of aerospace engagements. Jamie is a recent graduate of Harvard College, having studied Earth and planetary sciences and astrophysics. From a young age, she has been captivated by the mysteries of space and always enjoys watching a good astronomy show like “NOVA” or “How the Universe Works.”
In college, Jamie pursued her interest in the intersection of environmental preservation and space. Her research has ranged from sea-level geophysics of ice sheets to the astrochemistry of early stage star formation. She sang in the Radcliffe Choral Society, performed in theater productions, and has served on the steering committee of Harvard Hillel. She also served as a representative in the Ivy League Space Coalition. In her free time, Jamie enjoys playing tennis, figure skating, and pottery.
